The beauty therapist working with the Theravine Concept are special trained and qualified therapists in Vinotherapy, Aromatherapy and Anti-Agingtreatments for face and body.
The Theravine range, used in the signature treatments, is the culmination of extensive research and development in which the finest viticultural grapes in the Western Cape area were used to develop our special crafted health and skincare ranges. The Theravine products active ingredients have been carefully selected and prepared with immense care over the years.
The by-products from these world class grapes, which have been specially nurtured and harvested, consists of grapeseeds, grapeseed extracts, husks, grapeseed oil and vine leaf extracts, form part of the unique South African healing processes and have resulted in achieving a world class heakth and skincare range, used in five stars top Spa’s in the world.
The range obtains its grape-derived ingredients from the south African indigenous Pinotage cultivar, the result of a cross between the Pinot Noir and Hermitage (Cinsault) varieties, hence the name Pinotage. The Pinotage cultivar was created in South Africa in 1925 by Stellenbosch University Professor A.I.Peroldt.
The Theravine range obtains also the grape ingredients from other grape cultivars such as Merlot, Chardonnay, Cabernet and Sauvignons Blanc, all which contain high concentration of grapeseed polyphenols, known as proanthocyanidens ( OPC’S). Research has proven that OPC’S, being 50 times stronger than Vitamin E and 20 times stronger than Vitamin C, are the source of the best antioxidantsavailable.
The indigenous medical botanical essential oils used in the products are natural and organically grown in the Western Cape and great care has been taken to ensure that they are gentle and safe for every day use.
Note: None of the products contain harmfull alcohols or petrochemicals (mineral oils), and they are not tested on animals.
BALANCING FACIAL
The facial treatments uses specially selected aromatic essential oils for restoring balance to the skin. This treatment includes deep pore cleansing, to gently remove surface impurities, and a special TheraVine mask is chosen based on specific skin types. This facial is adapted to the client’s lifestyle, needs and desires and will allow the client to obtain a most radiant complexion.
HYDRATING FACIAL
This facial allows for deep relaxation with the aromatic scent of essential oils designed for deep hydration of the skin. A TheraVine Moisturising Cream Mask, rich in Pinotage Grape seed extract, is applied over the essential oils to bond moisture molecules to the skin leaving it feeling soft to the touch. A Nourishing and Firming Day Cream concludes this treatment.
MEN’S FACIAL
Our trained therapists will analyse your skin type and skin condition to customize your facial. With our exclusive skincare lines we create a facial specifically targeted to hydrate and improve skin conditions created by shaving and sun-damage. This treatment also includes a hand and foot massage.
DELUX ANTI-AGING FACIAL (also suitable for men)
This replenishing treatment helps smooth out wrinkles and fine lines using various specialised skin boosters and anti-aging botanicals. A specialized TheraVine facemask is applied for better penetration and hydration.
THERAPACK NUTRITIONAL FACIAL
This luxurious treatment helps hydrate, nourish and moisturize the skin. A warm, nutritional pack consisting of finely milled grape and linseeds is applied.
THERAVINE AROMATHERAPY ANTI-WRINKLE FACIAL
A facial different to any other, a trained therapist will perform a non-invasive massage routine working all the superficial, as well as the deeper muscles of the face, neck and scalp. A muscle relaxant ampoule is also worked into the skin. This treatment can help to reverse the adverse effects that have already occurred in the skin off the face. The muscles of the face are relaxed, which results in the reduction of wrinkles and easing expression lines , leaving the complexion looking rejuvenated an fresh.
An intensive eye area treatment in which TheraVine Anti-Wrinkle Eye Serums, creams and masks are applied to fight and minimize wrinkles.
GRAPESEED BODY EXFOLIATION
This is an exfoliating scrub using crushed grape seeds in a rich, cleansing cream. This is used to rid the skin of dead cells and to improve the absorption of the products to follow.
GRAPESEED BODY EXFOLIATION DELUXE
Grapeseed body exfoliation using grapeseeds in a rich vine cream, Hydromassage under Vichy shower on chakra points, followed by a Merloth Bath foam massage using specialized massage techniques, leaving the body relaxed and the skin rejuvenated.
THERAVINE FIRMING BODY GEL WRAP
A wonderful nourishing and firming treatment in which firming actives and essential botanicals are blended in an aloe based pack. Let yourself drift away as you are cocooned in a thermal blanket that will leave your skin feeling smooth and soothed.

This hands-on treatment is for people in need of contouring. Your therapist will do a lymphatic drainage using a combination of powerful contouring essential oils after which a firming body gel is applied. You are then cocooned in thermal blankets. Give your feet a real African treat. Done before any African experience treatment, a synergistic blend of Juniper, Tangerine an Blue Mountain Sage is added to a warm bowl of water. After immersion, the feet will then be cleansed with a disposable cloth. An African soul treatment!
THERANAKA MOISTURISING BEAUTY BATH
This treatment begins with an exfoliation after which the client is immersed in a rich, luxurious moisturizing milk bath containing Baobab Tree Oil, whilst receiving a head and shoulder massage. A rich cream containing Mafura Butter is then massaged into the body leaving it silky smooth and soft.
THERANAKA AVOCADO AND SHEABUTTER NOGGET MASSAGE EXPERIENCE
Relax into the rhythm of Africa as blocks of Avocado- and Shea butter are placed on different areas of the body.
